Precision battery monitor with built-in LCD, Bluetooth, and 500A shunt for real-time state of charge tracking.

The Victron BMV-712 Smart is a high-precision battery monitor that tracks voltage, current, power, consumed amp-hours, and state of charge in real time. The included 500A/50mV shunt measures current with ±0.4% accuracy across a 6.5-70V DC range, supporting 12V through 48V battery systems. The built-in LCD head unit provides at-a-glance readings without requiring a phone or GX device.

Built-in Bluetooth enables monitoring and configuration through VictronConnect. VE.Direct connectivity allows integration with GX devices for system-wide monitoring and VRM data logging. VE.Smart Networking enables wireless data sharing with compatible charge controllers for voltage and temperature-compensated charging.

An additional input supports monitoring a second battery (starter battery) or midpoint voltage for series battery strings. Programmable relay output for alarms or load control. Suitable for mobile, marine, and off-grid systems where direct battery state monitoring is needed.
