Cellular-connected GX monitoring device with built-in GPS and an embedded global SIM for remote system visibility without local internet.
The Victron GlobalLink 520 brings VRM portal connectivity to off-grid and mobile installations where Wi-Fi or Ethernet is unavailable. Using 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, it transmits real-time system data from MPPT solar chargers, SmartShunts, and inverters directly to the Victron Remote Management portal. An embedded global SIM with five years of prepaid data service means there is no carrier selection, no SIM provisioning, and no recurring subscription to manage at deployment time.
Built-in GPS enables automatic location tracking, which is valuable for mobile trailer fleets and deployable surveillance platforms. Two VE.Direct ports, a VE.Bus connection, USB, and two temperature sensor inputs provide broad device compatibility in a compact, low-power enclosure that operates on 8-70Vdc input.
Used in Alchemy industrial power systems for cellular monitoring of remote surveillance trailers, mobile signage platforms, and autonomous field-deployed energy systems that lack local network infrastructure.
