Galvanically isolated DC-DC chargers with adaptive 3-stage charging, Bluetooth configuration, and input/output combinations from 12V to 48V.
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart series provides isolated DC-DC charging between battery systems at different voltages. Available in 12V, 24V, and 48V input/output combinations (12→12, 12→24, 12→48, 24→12, 24→24, 24→48, 48→12, 48→24, 48→48), they deliver 220-400W continuous power with an adaptive bulk/absorption/float charge profile. 200V galvanic isolation protects against ground faults between battery systems.
Built-in Bluetooth enables charge profile configuration and monitoring through VictronConnect. The smart charger detects engine running state and enables/disables charging automatically, protecting the starter battery in vehicle applications. Efficiency ranges from 87-89% depending on model.
Used in Alchemy mobile power systems for alternator-to-service-battery charging, solar trailer auxiliary circuits, and voltage conversion between 24V and 48V subsystems.
