Programmable low-voltage disconnect that protects batteries from deep discharge by automatically interrupting the load path at configurable voltage thresholds.
The Victron Smart BatteryProtect monitors battery voltage in real time and disconnects loads when voltage drops below a user-defined threshold, preventing the deep discharge that permanently damages battery cells. Available in models from 65A to 220A for 12/24V systems and a 100A model for 48V, it covers applications from small auxiliary circuits to full-system load disconnect. Bluetooth connectivity allows threshold programming and status monitoring through the VictronConnect app.
A programmable alarm relay output provides early warning before the disconnect engages, giving connected controllers time to initiate graceful shutdowns. The voltage drop across the device is less than 0.05V at rated current, ensuring minimal power loss in the load path. Its compact form factor and simple two-wire installation make it an easy addition to new builds and retrofit projects.
