1000V DC rotary isolator switch rated 32A per pole for safe PV string disconnection during installation and maintenance.
This DC disconnect switch provides a safe, code-compliant means of isolating PV strings from charge controllers and battery systems. The rotary isolator mechanism ensures positive contact break with arc extinction in under 3ms. Rated for 1000V DC at 32A continuous current with 1500V rated insulation voltage.
IP66-rated polycarbonate enclosure protects against dust ingress, high-pressure water jets, and outdoor weather conditions. Operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. The lockable OFF position supports lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance. DIN rail or panel-mount installation.
CE and TUV certified per IEC 60947-3. Required safety component in all solar installations for NEC/code-compliant PV string isolation. Used in Alchemy solar power systems between PV arrays and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers.
