Shielded data communication cable for reliable connections between Victron VE.Direct devices and GX monitoring equipment.
The Victron VE.Direct Cable provides the physical data link between VE.Direct-equipped devices — MPPT solar chargers, BMV battery monitors, SmartShunts, Phoenix inverters — and GX monitoring devices such as the Cerbo GX and GlobalLink 520. Using the VE.Direct asynchronous serial protocol at 19200 baud, it delivers real-time telemetry and control data without requiring network infrastructure or complex configuration.
Available in straight and right-angle connector styles and lengths from 0.3m to 10m, the cable accommodates installations ranging from compact equipment enclosures to distributed cabinet layouts. Shielded construction ensures signal integrity in electrically noisy environments typical of inverter and charger installations. The JST VHR-4N connector provides a secure, positive-locking connection that resists vibration in mobile applications.
Used in Alchemy industrial power systems for connecting MPPT chargers, battery monitors, and inverters to GX devices in trailer power cabinets, surveillance system enclosures, and commercial energy storage installations.
